- The event raised over $100,000 to further pancreatic cancer research and support programs
- Established media contacts for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network
- KDKA and WPXI television appearances for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network
- Attended a lecture at the Adat Shalom Temple, Fox Chapel, PA, given by Jeffrey Zaslow, co-author of "The Last Lecture" by Randy Pausch
- Attended a webinar presented by SAS titled, "Mastering the Four Essential Elements of Conversational Marketing: Listen, Relate, Create, Aggregate"
